|Recommended: Noi would never recommend this apartment building to anybody, friend or foe. disregard my last review. our kitchen ceiling has been leaking gross and smelly water for a couple months now. on top of that there are multiple signs of water damage in the living room. and there seems to be no resolutions for any of our problems. our window is also broken, and the lock doesn’t work, which is a real risk to my life and my roommates life. my roommate and i would love to move asap. both of the previous reviews are about the same apartment i’m currently in, and i think it’s hilarious. there are the same issues with this building nothing has been fixed or changed what in the world i pay rent monthly just to get ignored by staff and forced to live in poor conditions. i would love to move to the open apartment above us.
|Recommended: YesNice but has it's issues — i like the location, but so far the apartment was not move-in ready for us, and nothing has been fixed so far. we didn't even get the proper keys during move-in. upsetting, to say the least, our stove and oven are both broken so we can't even make food.
|Recommended: YesPromising but Unfortunate — Since moving in, we have experienced multiple issues, which is unfortunate as we truly enjoy the apartment's space, location, and layout. We were given incorrect keys, had obvious water damage and an unclean interior upon arriving. We also experienced a significant flood on our first night in the apartment which was a separate issue from the pre-existing water damage to our ceiling. The staff has been helpful throughout the process and we feel they've done everything they can to address the issues but the state of the apartment has still left us disappointed and wanting. I can say that the space is pleasant and promising but still has yet to feel anywhere close to a home for us.
|Recommended: YesGood clean apartment, but not a quiet sanctuary if working from home — These apartments are of the old but nice variety. The location is great, right by a bus line. And the pet policy is nice if you have a furry friend. Unfortunately, the side of the building facing University Ave receives a ton of road and alley noise. Loud trucks, cars with busted mufflers, garbage trucks, buses, ambulances, and more are a constant throughout the day. This is exacerbated by the old single pane windows which don't block sound well. In summer, the lack of central air means your windows will have to be open in the warm months or 1-2 window AC's will be needed. If you park on the street, you'll want to get a spot on Shepherd Terrace the night before as early-shift hospital workers fill the road up or get a pass from the city to avoid the 2 hr rules.
|Recommended: YesGreat place and neighborhood to live in. — Neighbors are quite, there are never any issues. The neighborhood is really nice and great to walk your dog around, if you have one. Easy access to bus stops and nearby restaurants shopping. It is also very close to campus and takes less than 20 minutes to get there by bus. The maintenance are the best, they are very helpful and super fun people.
|Recommended: YesFavorite place I've rented — It's great living here It's a good location and overall a pretty quiet building.
|Recommended: YesLove my apartment, Staff and Maintenance are the best. — That the staff and maintenance are very nice and the building is pretty nice.
